We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a new entrant looking to kickstart their career in software testing.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
– Design and execute test cases to verify software functionality and performance.
– Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools (e.g., Jira, Spira etc.)
– Perform regression testing to ensure existing features function correctly after updates.
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality concerns.
– Develop and maintain automated test scripts for continuous integration and delivery.
– Assist in the creation of test plans and test strategies.
– Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
– Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities by coordinating with stakeholders.
– Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
– A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
– Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, etc.) is a plus.
– Knowledge on CI/CD is a plus
– Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
– A passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
