Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to food safety regulations
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service
  • Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance skills and productivity
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings and customer preferences
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while promoting a safe working environment
  • Handle customer inquiries and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential
  • Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food production processes
  • Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in kitchen operations
  • Experience in serving or barista roles is advantageous but not mandatory
  • A background in hotel or catering environments will be considered an asset
