Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales and Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, lead team performance, and drive sales across one or more Subway restaurant locations. This is a key leadership position with a strong focus on sales growth, staff development, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Performance

  • Drive store-level sales by executing local marketing strategies and upselling programs.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales revenue, labor cost, food cost, and profit margins.
  • Analyze sales reports and identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Work with the franchise owner to set and meet monthly sales targets.

Operations Management

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned Subway store(s) ensuring quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Subway brand standards, food safety protocols, and local health regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels, supplier orders, and reduce food and packaging waste.

Staff Management

  • Lead, coach, and motivate store managers and team members.
  • Schedule staff, ensure adequate coverage, and monitor labor efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Address customer complaints or service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure that all team members provide friendly, accurate, and fast service.

Reporting & Communication

  • Generate and deliver regular reports on store performance, sales data, and team metrics.
  • Communicate effectively with upper management on store operations and team progress.

Qualifications

  • Good experience in restaurant, QSR (Quick Service Restaurant), or retail management
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, inventory control, and labor management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to motivate teams and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with POS systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Subway systems (e.g., SubwayPOS, IPC ordering) is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £31,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
