Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer customer queries regarding meat selections, grocery items, prices, and promotions.
Assist in processing customer transactions at the checkout.
Handle customer complaints and feedback, ensuring a resolution that enhances customer satisfaction.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels for both meat and grocery sections and report any discrepancies or needs to the shop manager.
Assist in the receiving and stocking of new shipments.
Ensure proper labeling, pricing, and placement of products on shelves.
Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Supervision Duties:
Maintain and update sales records, customer database, and other pertinent documentation.
Process orders, forms, applications, and requests from suppliers.
Supervise with the Shop Manager to manage promotional events and sales campaigns.
Cash Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate cash drawers, processing daily sales, and preparing deposits.
Collaborate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Maintain Cleanliness and Safety: Ensure that the sales floor, checkout counters, and storage areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, especially when handling meat products.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the meat department, grocery staff, and other team members to ensure a seamless operational flow.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
