Sake Sales and Marketing Specialist Main Tasks
- Plan and carry out sales and marketing activities (telephone calls, visits, and direct mail) to achieve agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, and timescales.
- Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including sales and gross margins.
- Maintain and develop existing and new customers to optimise not only sales but quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- Record, analyse, report, and administer according to systems and requirements.
- Communicate, liaise, and negotiate to enable the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and at internal meetings as necessary to perform duties and achieve business objectives.
- Liaise with the accounts department and customers to ensure that customers understand their obligations regarding payment to the company and assist in negotiations where necessary.
- Take part in promotional events and trade fairs to promote the company and its products.
- Process orders and deal with customer phone calls and emails when in the office and according to the team duty roster.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques, and skills.

For roles on our Newsdesk, you will be part of the departments frontline, responding to calls from journalists and shaping news as it develops. You will be responsible for monitoring news and social media and protecting the Departments reputation. You will provide Ministers and their Advisers with updates on news as it breaks; identify and rebut inaccurate reporting or criticism; and ensure the Departments position is clearly reflected.
For roles on our proactive teams, you will develop integrated communications plans to promote the vital work being delivered across the Home Office.
Media roles will include producing plans to announce new policies or successes; providing media advice; drafting press releases on high profile issues; and facilitating interviews for Ministers.
Campaigns roles will see you deliver impactful communications led by insight and evaluation, including direct, paid-for, low- and no-cost marketing, partnerships, media and digital communications.
Working Pattern
Due to the business requirements of these roles, they are only available on a full-time basis.

Those candidates who achieve the minimum pass score for the lead Behaviour will progress to a further sift where the Personal Statement and CV will be scored. These candidates will receive sift scores for all elements. Candidates who fail to meet the minimum pass score for the lead Behaviour will not have their Personal Statement or CV scored and will only receive a sift score for the lead Behaviour.
3. Interview week commencing 28th October 2024
If you are successful at sift stage, you will be invited to an interview that will be:

The interview will take place on Teams.
