Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading a team, and ensuring that sales targets are met while maintaining high standards of store presentation. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be crucial in this role.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Supervise daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper stock management to meet customer demand.
- Train and develop staff in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to maximise product visibility and sales.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and organisation.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and staff at all levels.
- A knack for selling with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in time management and administrative tasks within a retail environment.
- Multilingual abilities would be advantageous in catering to our diverse clientele.
- Familiarity with retail management software is preferred but not essential.
