We are seeking a meticulous and legally adept Quality Assurance and Compliance Manager to spearhead our product safety initiatives, ensure compliance with international standards, and oversee the integrity of our quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance and Regulatory Oversight
- Ensure that all products strictly adhere to UK, EU, and international safety regulations, including CE marking and ISO standards.
- Draft, negotiate, and rigorously review supplier contracts, embedding robust quality assurance and compliance obligations.
- Serve as the principal point of contact with regulatory bodies, certification authorities, and third-party testing laboratories.
Product Safety Management
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to pre-emptively identify and address potential product safety concerns.
- Maintain meticulous records of inspections, certifications, and safety reports to ensure full traceability.
- Lead and manage product recall initiatives where necessary, implementing and documenting corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Quality Assurance Leadership
- Establish and maintain an effective Quality Management System (QMS) that upholds industry-leading standards.
- Conduct rigorous quality inspections of raw materials and finished products, ensuring strict conformance to specifications.
- Collaborate extensively with suppliers in regions such as Pakistan and China to enforce and elevate quality benchmarks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product designers to integrate safety and compliance considerations seamlessly into product development cycles.
- Oversee adherence to marketplace regulations, including compliance requirements for platforms like Amazon and eBay.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Regulatory Compliance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of product safety standards, such as CE marking and ISO standards, is highly advantageous.
Professional Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance, preferably within manufacturing or consumer goods.
- Proven track record of managing international supplier relationships is highly desirable.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines.

Pay: £29,750.00-£42,500.00 per year
