Job Title: Product Manager – Womenswear Jersey (RELOCATION REQUIRED)

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager with a passion for fashion and product development to join our team. Based in Bangladesh, you will oversee the Womenswear Jersey department, working closely with international teams to create high-quality, trend-led products that align with market needs. This role involves managing the end-to-end product development process, from sourcing to delivery, while building strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive sales and profitability. Ideal for those with experience in buying, product development, or account management, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, global environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UK buying and design teams to fully understand customer needs and translate them into high-quality product offerings.
  • Lead virtual presentations, customer visits, and buying trips, ensuring all presentations are professionally prepared and leave a lasting impression.
  • Stay up-to-date with UK fashion trends to ensure product offerings align with the latest market directions.
  • Partner with fabric sourcing teams to secure key seasonal fabrics in line with the production schedule.
  • Identify and implement strategies to meet sales targets by assessing regional product offerings and market trends.
  • Review and adjust the supply base with the Merchandising Manager, sourcing new suppliers as necessary to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Conduct supplier visits, sharing valuable market insights with UK buying and design teams to strengthen product development.
  • Set and monitor sales budgets for various product categories, responding quickly to changes in sales performance.
  • Collaborate with local merchandising and technical teams to ensure all products meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
  • Motivate and manage your team, distributing workloads effectively to maintain a balanced, productive environment.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere, even in challenging situations, ensuring the team stays motivated and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Continuously strive for process improvements to enhance product quality, service, and overall profitability.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in product development, buying, or design, ideally within fashion or womenswear.
  • Experience working with the UK market is advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of womenswear jersey products and related areas.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant design field is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience, with strong team management and decision-making abilities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
