As a Junior Software Developer at Eebz, you will be responsible for supporting our software development team in all aspects of the development, testing and implementation of our product.
You will be integral to the business and have the opportunity to grow, learn new technologies and progress quickly.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a junior developer to contribute to the creation of our innovative data-driven web application and gain valuable experience in a collaborative and dynamic data engineering environment.
To ensure success, you should have a good working knowledge of basic programming languages (ideally Elixir, Vue.js, GraphQL and SQL), the ability to learn new technology quickly, and the ability to work in a team environment. Ultimately, a top-class junior software developer provides valuable support to the development team while continually improving their coding and design skills.
Duties & responsibilities will include:
- Writing and debugging code
- Troubleshooting software issues
- Working closely with developers to improve product’s functionality
- Developing innovative solutions
- Attending developer meetings
- Participating in code reviews and quality assurance activities
- Participating in estimation discussions with the product team
- Continually improving coding skills
Requirements & qualifications required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of basic programming languages
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Authorised to work in the UK
