The role

We are looking to appoint a full time International Visa & Compliance Advisor for our London campus. This role will provide in-person support to our international student body in the London campus. The role will play a crucial part in ensuring that UKVI compliance responsibilities are upheld and that the students have access to ongoing visa-related advice and support. The role will also work closely with the London campus team to deliver key events such as welcome/induction weeks.

Key requirements

The successful candidate will have experience working in immigration and compliance preferably within the Higher Education sector, with a deep understanding of UKVI rules, regulations and policies. You will also have the ability to interact with a wide variety of students from different backgrounds and so must have excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal). It is important that the successful candidate has used SMS and issued CAS’s previously.

An essential part of this role will be to undertake responsibilities on the SMS system and handle students’ BRPs that are delivered at the University. In order to meet the UKVI requirements, we require this particular post holder to have British Citizenship, Permanent Residence/Indefinite Leave to remain, Settled or Pre-settled Status in the UK. As such, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this particular role.
