HR Payroll Advisor – Join Our supportive HR Team at Jaja Finance!

9-Month FTC (Maternity Cover) | £35,000 – £40,000

Are you passionate about people and data? We are hiring a HR Payroll Advisor to join our friendly, supportive HR team of three on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with employees across the business, has a kind and caring nature and brings a proactive, service-oriented approach to everything they do. We’re looking for a doer – someone highly organised, detail-oriented and social, who loves working with data and managing complex spreadsheets. While payroll is the core of this role, you’ll also get involved in a variety of HR tasks, from drafting contracts and coordinating admin to onboarding new employees and supporting right-to-work checks. If you enjoy juggling different responsibilities and making a real impact across the business, this role is for you!

Payroll Administrator Duties:

  • Collaborating with the external payroll team department to maintain employee data and update monthly payroll inputs
  • Adding new joiners and removing leavers from monthly payroll (working out number of days worked and accrued leave)
  • Calculating pay adjustments, and overtime compensation
  • Resolving issues employees have with payslips and other payroll matters
  • Checking monthly employee changes on the HR system, ensuring our payroll provider have been notified when necessary to process accurately
