We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance & Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, accounting, and strategic planning, with the ability to lead and manage a finance team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement preparation and analysis for the Company.
- Preparation of Budget Performance Report to Management.
- Provide accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity, and cash flow of the business.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backup from time to time.
- Liaising with Banks and Regulatory Authorities on behalf of the Company.
- Preparation of Payroll.
- Reconciling Bank Statements, checking Bank charges to ensure that it is commensurate with Business activities.
- Internal Controls and Risk Management.
- Financial advisory and business support.
- Calculate Tax payable and remit taxes to ensure that the Business is compliant with Tax regulations and any other statutory requirements.
- Stock Control
- Analysis of costing, pricing, budgeting and profitability for the company.
- Put in place the appropriate Inventory Management System
Requirements:
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (MBA), or related field (preferred)
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, CMA, or CFM (preferred)
Experience:
- 5-10 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with progressive responsibility
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Experience with financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Excel)
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices, financial reporting, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyse complex financial data and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a finance team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to contribute to strategic planning and development of financial strategies.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address financial issues proactively.
- Adherence to ethical standards and practices in financial management.
