Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team in managing and enhancing our database systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our databases to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain database solutions to store and retrieve company information efficiently
– Design and implement database architecture in line with company requirements
– Perform data modelling to visualise database structure
– Write complex SQL queries for data analysis and extraction
– Utilise Linux environment for database management tasks
– Collaborate with software developers to integrate databases with applications
– Implement ETL processes using SSIS for data warehousing
– Troubleshoot database issues and perform necessary optimisations
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Database Developer or similar role
– Proficiency in Java, Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
– Strong understanding of database design principles
– Familiarity with vaticinate tools for performance tuning
– Knowledge of fool techniques for data security
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
