Overview:
We are searching for a reliable, deadline-driven construction supervisor to oversee construction crews at our company. This key position holds responsibility for overseeing the day-to-day operations on construction sites and ensuring that work is completed in compliance with all building standards and regulations. Notably, the Construction Supervisor serves as the central point of communication between various stakeholders including site workers, project managers, and external contractors.
Construction Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
· Maintain project administration in a correct and timely manner.
· Order materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits.
· Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees.
· Assess safety and finance goals.
· Manage sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors.
· Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews.
· Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures.
· Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope.
· Approve construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases.
· Prevent fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes.
· Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
Construction Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:
· Ability to read construction blueprints and store elevation drawings
· Proficiency in demonstrating proposals and projects
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects with urgent deadlines
· Great time management and problem-solving skills
