Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Business Support professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing administrative assistance, and supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen understanding of office procedures.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Manage and organise schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members.
- Assist with human resources tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Supervise clerical staff and coordinate team management activities.
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as required.
- Ensure the office environment is organised and conducive to productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative or business support role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in supervising staff or managing teams is advantageous.
- Proficient in general office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.
