Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and enhancing our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with proficiency in software tools such as Salesforce to streamline processes and track performance.
Responsibilities
– Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth targets.
– Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, market research, and outreach.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development strategies with overall company goals.
– Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing our products and services.
– Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
– Utilise Salesforce for tracking leads, managing client interactions, and reporting on sales activities.
– Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand professional networks.
Experience
– Proven experience in business development or sales management, preferably within a relevant industry.
– Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
– Proficiency in using software tools such as Salesforce for managing leads and client data.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
– Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
– A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
– A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
