Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to drive sales, build partnerships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, excellent networking skills, and a strong understanding of UK-Vietnam trade dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of logistics and transportation services.
- Research and qualify leads through networking, industry events, and online channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to convert leads into long-term customers.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
- Understand client needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and escalations.
3. Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Present company services effectively to prospective clients through meetings and presentations.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to close deals.
4. Market Research & Strategy:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting UK-Vietnam trade.
- Identify opportunities for new services or market expansion.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving company offerings and competitiveness.
5. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, and logistics) to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
- Provide regular updates to management on progress and challenges.
Requirements
· Experience: Proven year in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain).
· Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
· Knowledge: Understanding of UK-Vietnam trade, customs regulations, and logistics services.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
· Languages: Fluency in English required; Vietnamese language skills are a plus.
· Mindset: Results-driven, proactive, and adaptable to dynamic business environments.
