We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and fostering a positive work environment for all staff.

Duties

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support the development of menus and specials, incorporating culinary creativity to enhance guest experiences.
  • Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Monitor staff performance, providing constructive feedback and conducting performance reviews as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is essential, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in team management and training.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food production processes is highly desirable.
  • Experience in barista duties or hotel management is an advantage but not mandatory.
