Job Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled IT Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role requires a strong understanding of computer networking, Linux, DNS, Active Directory, Office, Jira, TCP/IP, and Windows.
1- Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues to higher-level support or external vendors as necessary.
3- Assist users with setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
4- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as software updates, security patches, and system backups.
5- Monitor system performance and network connectivity to identify and address potential issues proactively.
6- Ensure all IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently, minimizing downtime and disruption to business operations
Skills:- Proficient in computer networking principles- Knowledge of Linux operating systems- Familiarity with DNS configuration- Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting- Understanding of Active Directory management- Competent in Office suite applications- Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with users and team members- Proficiency in Windows operating systems

Pay: £31,372.00-£34,104.00 per year
