Duties:
– Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care and support to patients
– Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
– Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or doctor
– Assisting with mobility and transfers of patients
– Monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions to healthcare professionals
– Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
– Assisting with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance
– Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
Experience:
– Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
– Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for patients’ privacy
